INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

 

HOLLYWOOD ARTS COUNCIL – SOCIAL MEDIA AND OUTREACH INTERN

2 days a week, 10:30 am – 5:30 pm (flexible)

 

The Hollywood Arts Council is currently seeking a Social Media and Outreach Intern. The intern will assist the Executive Director and Programs Coordinator in creating social media content and in developing a series of social media campaigns to promote awareness for both arts events around Los Angeles and the Hollywood Arts Council itself. The intern will gain vast experience in social media management, arts education implementation, and nonprofit administration.

 

The intern must have project management skills and be a proactive self-starter. Intern must have a strong sense of organization and be fluent with social media platforms including Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. Experience with Constant Contact is a plus. Intern should have a strong interest in arts education and arts advocacy. Intern must be able to get themselves to HAC Offices, located on Hollywood Blvd. a few blocks from the Hollywood & Vine Metro station. Intern must be able to navigate one flight of stairs and lift 25 pounds. This position is unpaid.
